How does pricing work?
Pricing is based on the square inch of your quilt, and the intricacy and density of your quilting design. Â Prices begin at $0.04 per square inch. The Felted Pear has a minimun charge of $50. This includes communication with you about the quilt, a trial of up to two different quilting designs, and machine quilting of the quilt. Additional services such ironing, piecing the backing, postage and batting will be added to the invoice.

Is there anything I need to do before I send my quilt to you?
Send me an email to let me know that your quilt is coming and to discuss your vision and to find out current quilting time. Â Making sure your quilt is pressed and threads are removed will ensure optimal results for your project. Â Backing material should be at least four inches larger than your project on all sides. Please label the top of both your quilt and backing.

Should I send batting? Thread?
The Felted Pear uses Omni thread and Quilters Dream batting exclusively. Thread is included in the quilting fee and Quilter's Dream cotton, bamboo and wool batting is available for purchase or may be sent with your quilt top. Â We are only able to quilt projects with unopened packaged Quilter's Dream batting.
What method of payments are accepted?
The Felted Pear accepts Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle payments.
